Hotondo Homes was established in Deniliquin as a home builder in 1953 and commenced franchising in 1993. Today Hotondo Homes has over 90 building franchisees and is one of the top 10 home builders in the nation.

3. What experience do I need to be a Hotondo Homes Franchisee?
A background within the Building Industry is considered important. Your franchise must have a Builders Licence. Business experience is also well regarded. Other competencies include estimating, sales, administration and supervision. You will need proven financial stability and a strong work ethic.
4. Why should I choose a Hotondo Homes Franchise instead of any other building Franchise?

5. Are Hotondo Homes Franchisees required to be actively involved in operating the franchise?
Yes. The business requires and responds to the personal input and attention of the owner. It is essential that the franchisee become personally involved in all aspects of the business. You should be willing and capable of performing all sales, estimating and supervision functions. Your team can assist you providing you have the ability to attract, lead and retain quality employees.
6. How much is a Hotondo Homes franchise?
The initial Joining Fee is dependant on the specific territory. Joining Fees start at $60,000.00 plus GST. This fee includes a Franchise Fee, an initial joining kit, training, Marketing launch, signage and branding. Each franchise establishment cost will vary greatly based on the territory and your own current business structure. We will work with you to determine your own costs.
7. Are there ongoing Fees that I pay to Hotondo Homes?
There is an Annual Service Fee, a Royalty and a Marketing Fee. These amounts ensure we can support your franchise and provide Marketing for the brand.
8. What initial Training will I be required to attend and is there ongoing?
Training and induction will take place in our Support office in Melbourne. This will be for 1 week. You will then have additional training back at your territory to assist is setting you up correctly for when you are launched as a Hotondo Homes Franchisee. We also provide business management and regular coaching and on going training.
9. Does Hotondo Homes help with branding my business?
Yes. Hotondo Homes designs and plans all signs and marketing to brand your business. Within your initial fee is an allowance for signange and branding, grand launch and a joining kit including uniforms, business cards and branded stationery needs.
10. What is the length of my franchise agreement?
5 years with a further 5 year option.
11. Am I able to sell my franchise?
Yes, subject to Hotondo Homes approval of purchaser.
12. Can I own more than one territory?
Yes, if you can demonstrate to us that you have the ability to be a multi territory franchisee.
