Brendan Vine - Builder

As a licensed builder with over 21 years of experience, Brendan Vine is proud to bring expert craftsmanship and genuine care to every build. Having called the Rockhampton and Yeppoon region home for more than 12 years, Brendan has strong connections to local trades and a deep understanding of what works for Central Queensland living.

Brendan prides himself on being hands-on throughout the entire building process—from the initial consultation to the final handover—ensuring every detail meets his high standards. With a focus on clear communication and quality results, he’s committed to delivering a smooth, stress-free experience for every client.

Outside of work, Brendan enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and having a quick game of tennis. 

Melanie Vine - Accounts & Business Support

Melanie is the friendly and efficient force behind our accounts and financial operations. As a co-owner of the business alongside Brendan, Melanie plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of operations, ensuring everything stays on track behind the scenes.

With a strong focus on accuracy and organisation, Melanie manages invoicing, payments, and purchase orders with care and professionalism. Her dedication helps keep the team running smoothly and ensures our clients enjoy a seamless experience from start to finish.

Melanie’s approachable nature and deep understanding of the building industry make her an essential support to both the team and our clients. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her family and takes great pride in regularly smashing her husband in a game of tennis.

Bianca Luscombe - Colour Selections & Administration

Bianca is our friendly and detail-oriented team member who supports both our administration processes and colour selections, working closely with clients throughout their building journey to keep them informed and supported along the way.

One of Bianca’s favourite parts of her role is guiding clients through the exciting selections stage. From cabinetry and benchtops to flooring, tiles, fixtures and colours, she takes the time to understand each client’s personal style and helps bring their vision together with confidence and creativity.

Alongside selections, Bianca assists with client communication, documentation and the day-to-day administration that keeps each build progressing smoothly behind the scenes.

With her creative eye, love of the little details and approachable nature, there’s nothing Bianca enjoys more than watching a client’s ideas and selections come together in their finished home.

Kirsty Evans - Sales & Administration

Kirsty is one of the first friendly faces you’ll meet at Hotondo Homes Rockhampton - whether you’re stepping into our office or giving us a call. As part of our Sales & Administration team, she’ll often be your first point of contact, ready to answer your initial questions, get to know what you’re looking for and help point you in the right direction.

At the beginning of your journey, Kirsty will sit down with you to understand your must-haves, wish list and overall vision for your new home. Once construction begins, she’ll help keep you in the loop with weekly build updates - including a few sneaky progress photos along the way!

Behind the scenes, Kirsty also supports the day-to-day administration of the office, helping keep enquiries, appointments and client communication running smoothly. And her support doesn’t stop once the keys are handed over - Kirsty will also be a familiar point of contact for any maintenance enquiries after handover.

Matt Fleming - Estimator

Matt is our estimator and one of the key people working behind the scenes to get each of our homes ready to head to site.

Once a home moves into the construction estimating stage, Matt dives into the details, working through plans, quantities, supplier pricing and everything needed to make sure the job is accurately prepared for construction.

Calm, easy-going and always up for a laugh, Matt brings plenty of experience and attention to detail to the team. While clients may not always see him front and centre, there’s a whole lot of Matt’s work happening behind the scenes before a home ever reaches site.

He’s an important part of the team helping take each home from plans on a page to the real thing.

Ben - Site Supervisor

Ben is our Site Supervisor and the man behind the day-to-day action on site. With a strong eye for detail and a hands-on approach, he coordinates our trades, oversees each stage of construction and makes sure every Hotondo home is built to the quality and standard we pride ourselves on.

From the early stages on site right through to those final finishing touches, Ben keeps a close eye on the progress of each build, working closely with our trades and the wider team to keep everything moving smoothly. His practical knowledge, problem-solving skills and ability to think a few steps ahead make him an important part of bringing each home together.

Ben also works closely with our clients throughout construction, including site and electrical walk-throughs and those exciting final stages leading up to handover.

He might prefer to stay behind the camera but Ben is a huge part of what happens behind the scenes and an important member of the Hotondo Homes Rockhampton family.

Dylan Delapair - Site Support Lead

Dylan is a valued member of our team, working as a senior labourer and supporting the successful delivery of projects on site. He plays an essential role in site preparation, material coordination and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. Dylan is known for his strong work ethic, reliability and commitment to quality workmanship.

Outside of work, Dylan is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his children and making the most of the outdoors. Whether it’s weekend adventures or relaxing with family, he values balance and brings that same positive, grounded approach to his work each day.
