Coastal Style

Take colour inspiration from the beach. Think muted neutrals, crisp whites, blues, aqua and timber highlights.
In the bathroom, choose white baths and basins with soft curves and chrome or stainless steel tapware. Use natural and even textured tiles such as stone or stone look tiles, timber or concrete with grout that matches the tile colour to keep your bathroom in harmony. You can make it feel even more spacious by running your floor tile up your walls to the ceiling.
When it comes to the kitchen, choose a mixture of matte and natural finishes including timber and stone. Choose a splashback tile in natural colour or a sea blue for a classic nod to the coast, and style the space with open timber shelves to show your seaside finds and natural-shaped crockery.
A stunning coastal interior is one that oozes space so create more of it by using large format tiles. Colour match your grout to your tiles for a seamless look and consider choosing tiles that can run from indoors, out like Beaumont’s Microtec range.
Contemporary Style

When it comes to contemporary styling, simplicity is key. Contemporary styling is simple line and form, with the mantra of less is more. Choose a base monochrome colour palette and add a pop of colour for impact and add earthy elements like timber or marble to contrast.
For the bathroom, stick to a dual colour palette and select up to three different tiles that work in harmony, running your tiles to the ceiling. If your room doesn’t have much natural light, choose tiles from a light palette. If it’s well lit, go dark. Try a shaped tile such as a penny round from floor to ceiling for maximum impact with a plain white or timber-look floor tile. If you want to go ultra-contemporary, the simplicity of a polished concrete look tile on the floor can be beautifully styled with any structured or shaped wall tile.
Your kitchen should have clean lines with sharp corners, concealed hinges and squared handles. Be bold and dramatic with tiles, marbled feature walls and the splashback to make a simple statement, and keep countertops clear and highlight with impressive chrome taps.
For your floors, select simple, smoother finishes like polished concrete, large tiles or wood look tiles for a timeless look and feel.
Vintage Style

Enjoy the freedom that comes with the vintage style and how the style allows furniture and decor items to have a second life – everything old is new again! Use colour to bring everything together with trending colours from your favourite era to personalise your look, or classic vintage colours like deep reds and greens and lighter greens and greys.
If you want to make a bold statement in the bathroom, pick a feature tile with a funky pattern and pair it with a contrasting tile, or stick with one bold tile choice. Alternatively, a classic white tile with a black grout gives the space an understated retro flair.
In the kitchen be bold with a colourful splashback or motif encaustic-look tile or choose a mosaic to add character. Pair it with cabinetry with a profile or vintage-inspired handles to add character and nods to your favourite vintage era.
Choose a classic stone, marble or terrazzo for your floors to suit your best vintage hues, or consider a timber-look tile in the larger plank size that features aged character and woodgrain detailing.
Traditional Style

Tasteful neutrals give a traditional style interior a weathered patina to stand the test of time. Inject some zing with light grey or unsaturated greens and mix, match and layer your designer furnishings.
Tile choices for your bathroom are broad but Beaumont Tiles designers love classic, subway, hexagonal and penny rounds. The trick is to select tiles in similar hues to create depth but not too much variation in the overall design. You might like to choose a tuxedo-style palette with black and white hues that are elegant and timeless. Alternatively, create a feature wall in textured tiles and frame it with understated floor tiles.
In the kitchen, choose a subway tile laid in a herringbone pattern or a large, seamless splashback. There are so many interesting ways to lay tiles, so don’t be afraid to get creative with your laying pattern! You might also like to choose a mixture of matte and natural finishes including timber and stone for your new kitchen that coordinates well with cabinetry.
For a traditional style floor you can choose either a light or dark tile here so decide on your interior colour scheme first. Choose a light or dark marble tile or if you're a fan of the timber look, choose a long plank tile in a dark coloured timber look.
Wanderlust Style

Bring a bohemian playfulness tamed by a new level of luxury and sophistication into your home with a wanderlust style when you take colour hues from various travel destinations close to your heart. As a suggestion, think Moroccan colours - deep oranges, muted purples, yellows, creams and blue.
In the bathroom, choose heavy stone or marble floor tiles paired with a rustic feature mosaic that curves around corners. Bring curves into the bathroom with a natural coloured stone freestanding bath against a Moroccan feature wall that's tiled floor to ceiling. Make a statement with black or gold tapware and choose a handmade style timber vanity with a stone basin.
Your kitchen should be a space where texture is king! Choose a rustic speckled mosaic or a heavy stone splashback tile. Add personal touches with beautiful cooking pots and pans that are traditional in the cuisines you love, and decorate the kitchen with clay or dark timber utensil holders to complete the look.
On the floor, start with a bold stone design in grey or raw timber look tile in darker tones. However, if you want something that pops, create a feature with a patterned decorative tile. Add texture and an element of interest with a handmade rug or hallway runner made from natural fibres in bold colours to complete that wanderlust feel.
